Thanksgiving in March???

This is one of the reasons I keep my camera in my bag at all times. There were about 20 turkeys at someone's front yard. All the cars were slowing down and grinning at each other. It was a great sight in the morning.

Girl Scout Cookies

Our basement is full of Girl Scout Cookies. We have boxes of Caramel deLites, Shortbread, Peanut Butter Sandwiches and, of course, Thin Mints. Lauren and Emma sold the bulk at Colin's work. Again, they were very generous this year. Part of the sale this year was a drive to donate cookies to the military. These cookies will be sent off to military zones abroad. Lauren, Emma and along with their fellow scouts helped deliver the cookies to nearby Air Force base. They had a shout out in the local papers. BTW, the picture they used was mine. Not very professional but I liked that the box had 'Teamwork' on it.

Dragontales Ripoff

I woke up this morning and turned on the tv. It was snowing and I was wondering if my jewelry class at Decordova would be cancelled. Alas, no news on school closing but there was news that J-Lo named her twins Emme and Max. Cute names ...but aren't those the names from that PBS cartoon Dragon Tales???
